Membership is at the heart of the congregational church polity – the way we work and worship together. Each local congregation makes its own decisions about what missions and ministries to pursue, about how to raise and spend its money, about who to call to be its pastor. Since the earliest days of the Pilgrims and the Puritans, members of the congregational church have gathered in congregational meeting to listen for the leading of the Holy Spirit and make decisions such as these. We hope you will consider becoming a member of our congregation.
If you are new to our congregation, you are invited to gather for lunch on a Sunday following worship to get to know each other and to learn more about Pilgrim UCC. We have been blessed by many new faces in recent months and hope you will join us!
